As he was holding his cup in his hand, all of a sudden a great big trunk came sliding in over my shoulder and sucked up my cookies. They all just went right off my plate.Kenneth looked up, and the elephant was looking at him benignly. The elephant had lifted the entire roof of the building up onto his shoulders. Kenneth had sensed the roof going up, and noticed dust coming down into his cocoa, but before he could make sense of that, this sinuous trunk had slid over his shoulder and sucked up his cookies]]></dcterms:description>

    <dcterms:description><![CDATA[Thorina Chrisina married in 1876 and migrated to the US in 1883 with her two children and her mother, following the death of her husband and one of her children. They settled in Racine and Trine invested money in the business of her brother, Laurids, who had come fifteen years earlier. When she later wanted to withdraw her investment as they had agreed, Laurids refused, claiming that it was lost. The disagreement between them was such that Trine almost took her life. She eventually remarried and life got better, but the two siblings never truly got over their bitter relationship.ﾠ]]></dcterms:description>
