He was a very powerful and highly respected person, not only by the Thai but also by all the foreigners living in Bangkok. He was the premier prince. They tell of the coup d&#039;etat that led the Prince to exile. Prince Damrong wrote a letter to Dr. McDaniel from his exile, and Dr. McDaniel was the one who introduced Margaret to Anna&#039;s books and the royal family. The Prince was instrumental in the success of several missionaries&#039; work, including the leper asylum that Dr. McDaniel started. ]]></dcterms:description>

After a long break, the third recording period began in 1988 and concluded in March 1989.]]></dcterms:provenance>
