Title
Siam: Kenneth's Letters Home
Description
Kenneth reads a letter to his mother, who had told him for the first time about a sore on her breast. He urged her to see a doctor (he later learned that she had an operation). He also advised her to keep for herself the $900 she had inherited from her own mother. Kenneth comments that his father, with all his concern for hygiene, would have had a hard time living in Siam.
