Title

Margaret and Kenneth on Her Chinese Paintings

Description

Margaret tells the story of her Chinese pictures of Christian scenes. It began when the Landons were living in Siam. Margaret received a magazine for women that contained a picture of a Madonna done in the Chinese manner, and she wanted to have the original painting. Years passed, and Margaret became friends with a lady whose parents knew the artists of the painting and the series of paintings that goes with it. She arranged for Margaret to get the nine paintings she wanted from China.
