Title
Kenneth on When the Lights Went Out 'Prophetically' at a Royal Dinner in Bangkok
Description
One night, Charlie Yost, Irena, and Kenneth had gone to the Royal Palace, and were standing about having "pre-prandial drinks" when the lights went out. Phumipol lit a cigarette lighter and held it under his chin, so that everyone was in shadow, while he was illuminated. And he grinned and laughed and said, "Look at me! I'd make a better king than my brother." To Kenneth it was a prophetic thing. Phumipol was a very cheerful young man. Ananda was a sobersides.
