Step 1.3: Receiving New Materials by Donation

The final method for obtaining new acquisitions is donations. We are grateful for the instances when individuals approach the Wade Center offering to donate materials. Once the archival staff determines if the items are appropriate to our holdings, they are gladly accepted. Both commercial and rare items have been acquired through the generosity of donors. Publishers have also been generous in donating newly published volumes.
