Siam: Margaret and Kenneth Describe Monsoons
Subject
Monsoons
Description
Kenneth and Margaret describe the monsoon rain and its sudden, violent hits. Kenneth explains the rainy season process and the crop seasons it gave for different areas in the peninsula. Some regions had three crop seasons while others had two. A monsoon rain would hit very suddenly and violently. One moment you were dry and the next you were soaked, and there was "no-inbetween" They sound was awe-inspiring, and it was especially dreadful in the jungle.
