Siam: Kenneth's Letter to Adelle and Margaret's Comments

Kenneth wrote to Margaret's mother about their vacation. He talks about Margaret and what a clean person she is. Margaret comments on her concern for the health of the children in a place where death was so quick. She remembers skin and instestinal diseases. Problems with the eyes (trachoma) was everywhere. She remembers missionaries who lost their children in Siam. Kenneth's letter to Margaret's mother mentions also his camera and the pictures he was taking.

Over a course of 13 years Kip Landon (Kenneth Landon Jr.) began recording stories from his parents, Margaret and Kenneth Landon, resulting in 95 hours of recordings. Beginning on July 20, 1976, recording finished in June, 1978. The project resumed again in 1982 for a few months. After a long break, the third recording period began in 1988 and concluded in March 1989.
