Athletic Complex

This art deco athletic center, drawn by the Robert H. Salisbury architectural firm, was proposed in the mid-1930s. (Wheaton College yearbook, 1934)

One can almost hear the swimmers splashing and the shouts echoing in this tiled indoor pool, intended for the very modern Physical Education Building.
