Billy Graham Center
This design for the Billy Graham Center was proposed in the mid-1970s, evoking the square, brown brick infrastructure and high narrow windows of Buswell Library, built in 1975. The façade in this plan features fountains and a stained-glassed entryway. (Billy Graham Center promotional booklet, 1977)
Colorful, somewhat fanciful illustrations reveal plans for the many rooms contained within the monolithic Billy Graham Center, accommodating a United Nations-like atmosphere humming with international scholars, packed lecture halls, bustling communication studios and a spacious two-level library.
