Buswell Library

This 1968 proposal for Buswell Library features a no-frills, relentlessly utilitarian exterior.  Along with several other enterprising ideas, it finally proved unaffordable. Buswell Memorial Library, based on an entirely different design and costing approximately $2,400,000, was constructed in 1975, undergoing renovations in 1999 and 2006. A new library building, incorporating modern technology for diverse learning styles, is currently being planned. (B3447)
