Beloved Teacher & Counselor

Jonathan Blanchard was well regarded by all his students. Knox students made their feelings clear through their support in the Gale conflict. Three students even followed Blanchard from Knox to Wheaton. While the students did not always agree with the President, they still loved him. They acknowledged he could be overly forceful in his opinions and slow to change his mind. But they also found him kind and always willing to offer advice – especially when it came to romance!
